oe parts ?

what do you think about buyung oe ( original equipmemt ) parts
alot of places sell these eo parts on there web sits alot on ebay but alot of places dont say this some say dont buy gray imports what dos this meen ?
i think is wrong not to say if they are.
i dont mind to much as you get a better price :o

    OE just means not manuals or presentable boxes... Usually they are selling any excess that they've bought in for bike builds and maintenance...

    Some deliberately buy it in to offer a cheaper option... If I know what I'm doing with a part I tend to buy OE...

    Yes, they should say really. Some OE stuff isnt made to the same standard as after market stuff, may be differently specced and have missing accessories.
  • I just purchased some 1.5" RS Totem coils OE for £449.00

    The only thing not in the CRC box was the 'Speedlube' kit which is £25 from TFTuned.

    The Average price for Totem Coils is £580.00

    I can live with that deal I tell thee!

    Oh, another thing is OE is not warrantied by the manufacturer. This rarely matters, as its the shop who sold it you, but it does mean it may take longer for a problem to be sorted.
