So you want to use a full length outer, uncut, all the way to the mech?

I'm just building a new bike and on my old onone frame the gear outer cabling
threads all the way to the rear mech and into the stopper on the front mech
was just assuming that there would be enough of the outer jacket to do the same
with the flying snake set...is it ok to have the inner exposed on the upper frame?
not sure whats the right thing to do as it's the first time I've done it and am a bit new to it all...
    cheers

If the frame has stops for the gear cables, then using them with this cable set is ideal as it uses a thin inner sleeve to protect the steel cable from gunk. Cable sets like this usually dont have enough for a full uncut run but are intended to be used between the stops. If you want to do a full run, just buy a length of standard outer for about 3 quid.

I just stuck mine on the rear mech only. I find the front is not so prone to gunking up as there's more cable pulled per gear. But, as super says, they do come with loads of inner sheath.

Flying snakes are not designed for full run cable lines, they are designed for runs with stops.
