Events in / near to cornwall? Tracks?

Does anybody know of any riding events near or in cornwall this year?

Trials, dh, dual, 4x etc.....I havent been to one for ages

Also, are there any dj spots or 4x tracks?(apart from portreath)

I live in lostwithiel, cornwall and ride dh and xc, but mainly trials

    theres the soggy bottom races for xc coming up in plymouth but apart from that i cant help you any more sorry.
  • there's The Track (http://www.the-track.co.uk ) done on the portreath road just past the gold centre, Big Purpose built 4x place, very impressive!! have quite a lot going on there and is open to the public thursday-mon i beleive?? had some big events the past couple of years!!

    Think you need to head for Devon really.

    Bit short of events down here :cry:

    There are a few things on at Newnham this year.

    In addition to Soggy bottom, there's the Newnham 90, Botranger 24/7 and another 12 hr enduro.

    LBS's will also be able to tell you if there is anything in the area.
    Try asking at Certini in Saltash, Clive Mitchell in Truro or Bike Chain in Redruth.

  • Hi I live in cornwall next to the portreath track i have only been a few times.there is a good club called ,cornwall bmx, its well good i go biking loads there but it will be a long old way for you to drive if you drive?but mabe a good laf to come down when thay have a event on or race etc.check out the web site type in cornwall bmx track into google you will find it.i go to the nacc dh events up devon way thats a real good laf and if ace.i fancy doing some of the dragon dh aswell this year at some point.Exeter has haldon a good fun bike park to ride round i use to live there and i never got bord of it xc DH free ride north shore its a lush place to ride.well in in nz at mo checking out some of the DH and will be home soon im going to start up a club on sunday to go and have a 2 or 3 hour ride then into a pub or have a bbq after but it will be down near truro area.i go up devon way DH racing with some m8ts all the time if you want to hop on or meet us at the events i normaly bring loads of food beer tents etc for my m8ts if you want to join the gang?[/b]
