Front lights
Looking at the specs, do any of these have the capacity to light the road ahead - dark mornings/evenings, avoiding larger stones/horse manure etc?

or are they all not up to it?
Thanks

I also recommend the Cateye Single Shot Plus. More expensive but you wont find a decent enough light at the prices you at looking at to light the road ahead enough.0

Whilst you won't get anything which give enough light to see with at a similar cost to those you're looking at, an alternative to the Single Shot with much the same light output for rather less money is http://www.fenixtorch.co.uk/led_torches ... 2d_q5.html and http://www.fenixtorch.co.uk/led_torches ... mount.html0

I agree with Aracer totally, to actually see with you generally need to be spending much more. I have the Fenix, you can see beam shots of the Fenix and comparison with the Dinotte on this thread. It has got to be the most brightness and runtime for the money, by a long stretch!0

Thanks guys - I've gone for a Cateye halogen (bit big and lumpy) - I tend to do 10 milers in the dark (very early) - I'll only need about 20 or 30 uses for 15 minutes of the 30 (roughly) over the next few months - can always resell after that and get something more suitable next autumn etc.0
