What make is it?
Roulandt. Dutch. '80s, I think and apparently one of the first "production" 'bents in Europe. There's a page or two on thweb - or there used to be.
Wanna buy it???d.j.

Oh my God I've ridden one of those! Rasta T used to despatch on one C1987. Lovely little bike. Ive a copy somewhere of Moving Target featuring the rasta man riding his Roulandt on the cover. I didn't know what bike you were on about till I googled it.Elephants, schmeliphants.0

Just to be sure we are on common understanding and before I try and think of a price, this one yes?

Mine's not quite original: the rear hub brake locked up solid on me once and twisted the torque arm, so I fitted a caliper mounted to the chain stay bridge.
It's done maybe 500 miles in it's whole life: was a demo at a local shop and then in the owners garage for 10-15 years before I bought it about 10 years ago.
Whatever the price, it will only go to "a good home". It should not be "chopped" IMHO.d.j.

The very one. I was a member of an HPV racing team in the eighties and we used a LWB bike based on an American Avatar. The Roulandt was like a cartoon version of the chassis we broke British and European records with. Shorter and more upright. I wouldn't chop it or hot-rod it. If I bought it, it would hang in the rafters alongside an A-Bike, an early Windcheeta, an Itera plastic bike, a Burrows Amsterdam prototype and an early Strida. Serviced, ready to ride a few times a year but out of harms way.Elephants, schmeliphants.0
