Wheels & tyres needed

I need to replace both front and rear wheels and tyres for my mountain bike. I currently have 26 x 1.95 tyres which were standard on my GT Aggressor when bought. Most cycling I do is on roads, canal paths and a bit of off road. Not looking to spend to much as I will be buying a new bike in 12 months so just something to keep me going. Any thoughts????

Deore disc hubs with XM317 non-disc rims - about £85 a pair and can be used with disc brakes or rim brakes. Versatile while you have them, easier to sell on.
Tyres, can't go far wrong with these for the price in 2.1 size http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... elID=24604
They roll well in the centre but have more grip at the edges."Internet Forums - an amazing world where outright falsehoods become cyber-facts with a few witty key taps and a carefully placed emoticon."0 -
You've double posted as well, I think. May want to delete the other."Internet Forums - an amazing world where outright falsehoods become cyber-facts with a few witty key taps and a carefully placed emoticon."0

I used a set of the Panaracers on the Coast2Coast a couple of years ago, the trail uses very similar conditions to yours, they work well on road & will handle off road stuff too (but not in the wet!).0
