Wheels & tyres needed

I need to replace both front and rear wheels and tyres for my mountain bike. I currently have 26 x 1.95 tyres which were standard on my GT Aggressor when bought. Most cycling I do is on roads, canal paths and a bit of off road. Not looking to spend to much as I will be buying a new bike in 12 months so just something to keep me going. Any thoughts????

Alternatively check out one of the wheel/tyre packages at www.merlincycles.co.uk

If you rarely venture off road look at semi slicks or road tyres,to reduce rolling resistance and speed.

Something like this would do the job for £22 the pair.
