Thread Locker - where to buy

I'm looking at buying some thread locker - preferably Loctite 242 (or 243). Does anyone know of a good UK supplier?
I've found a couple of places via google, but I'd feel more comfortable ordering from somewhere that other people would recommend. I'm also interested in recommendations of other thread lockers that are service removable (i.e. I won't need a heat gun to get it apart again).
TIA

Just go to halfords or any car parts supplier. They are all over the place.0

Or any engineer's suppliers (look 'em up in Yellow Pages), or try J&L Industrial (www.jlindustrial.co.uk), they don't do Loctite but they have the Rocol equivalents.0 -

Thanks. I had a quick look on their website and could only find 248, I'll try my local store soon.

Loctite 248 is a solid stick (a bit like Pritt-Stik) so there's no chance of spillage, 243 is a liquid.
Be aware that 248 has a longer cure time (typically 24 hours) than 243 (2 hours).0 -
Most car accessory shops and places like B&Q will have Loctite productsDave S0
