Lucozade Sport (not for cyclists?)
Hi All,
I've just been clicking about on the Lucozade Sport web site and noticed that they've chosen not to use cyclists as a sport specific group, favoring rugby, gym, running, hockey, football etc.
I'm curious as to why they have not included cyclists.
Have a look for yourselves and if you can shed any light on this all the better.

Don't stress over it mate, it's just fizzy pop. I doubt if it has any energy benefits.0

The sports version is not fizzy and quite nice tasting compared to the stuff I mix at home - but I prefer Powerade myself.Brian B.0 -
whatever brian but like i said i can't see it being much good for you. An electrolyte recovery drink lets you recover much better imo.0

LOL. That's probally the reason why they have left us out. We just don't appreciate all the 'scientific research'0 that gone into it and refer to it as 'fizzy pop'.0 -
According to Matthew Parris it is!

They used to have a cyclist in their ad on telly. I know cos it was my mate. The jammy git.
Do they sponsor any cycling stuff now ? Or have they blown their budget on the footy and rugby ?0
