didnt know where to put this either in the downhill, freeride section or here.. Im ill so i cant go out for a ride, so instead of doing coursework or rivision i've decided to see what else to get for my bike . So this is the spec of my big hit (so far);-
Specialized big hit III frame (07)
marzocchi bomber z150 (old but i like em)
fox dhx 3 rear shock
hope headset
shimano hone crankset
e-thirteen bash guard
crankbrothers 5050 pedals
sram pg990 cassette (the red one)
sram pc991 hollowpin chain
titec el norte scoper seat post
sdg titanium railed saddle
truvativ hussefelt bar and stem
hayes hfx 9 brakes with 8" discs front and rear
Sram x-9 rear drailier
Sram x-9 shifter (with avid flak jacket)
rigida taurus db wheel with shimano deore and scott hubs(taken from scott nitrous)
The bike was built by me and my dad and was built as a light downhill/freeride bike that could get up the hills. I just wanted to know what you guys think of the spec and what in your opinion would be worth upgrading.I want some mavic ex721 rims on hope pro2 hubs but now only have enough for one wheel!, i also could do with a chain guide as it comes of fairly frequently.
so yeah comments, opinions, and advice would be appreciated!!!
thanks a lot!!!
