Was going to post this in Road but as I mainly do 'commuting' till the nice weather arrives (Fair weather cyclist, all weather motorcyclist ) I thought here was best.
How many miles can you do before parts of you start getting uncomfortable (Not tired)
I ask as sometimes I feel like I could cycle all day and want to ride past work and some days I'm glad to get off :? Always wear the same stuff (Jeans) and carry the same backpack!!
Oh and how does a road bike compare to a MTB for riding position? I find my Specialised Hardrock has a rather canted forward riding position which can make my neck ache slightly from looking up.

I can cycle all day, or sometimes certainly feel like I can... I'm sure I have a limit but I'm yet to find it...
I commuted on my Rockhopper last year with slicks and covered 3000miles, I have this year swapped to a road bike. Apart from the extra hand positions on the road bike and the added speed I find them fairly equal in comfort..... I'll still use the MTB when the mood takes me....0
