hi all.
am planning to upgrade my brakes (see other post ) and need an adaptor to mount the rear caliper to accomodate a 180mm rotor. the guy in halfords suggested using a +20mm hope adaptor (http://chainreactioncycles.com/Models.a ... elID=13739). will this one work?
cheers.

The Hope + 20mm would mean 2 adapters which isn't a good idea. I'd use something like this http://chainreactioncycles.com/Models.a ... elID=17303 personally. Your selected adapter is for a 183mm rotor, not 180."Internet Forums - an amazing world where outright falsehoods become cyber-facts with a few witty key taps and a carefully placed emoticon."0

cheers Splasher.
would this adaptor be alright for the front caliper, bearing in mind im going to be fitting a 203mm rotor?

No. But the correct one depends on what fork you have."Internet Forums - an amazing world where outright falsehoods become cyber-facts with a few witty key taps and a carefully placed emoticon."0
