Cycle home last night, almost a painful intrusion

I start of and once I’m on to cable street I sit down and my seat leans back!! which isn’t conducive to sitting while keeping the little guy in comfort, I assumed the bolt had loosened so I push down on the front and it goes back, I cycle on a bit and tentatively sit down the same thing happens, I bring the seat level again but this time there’s a nasty sounding crack and the seat is vertical. I stop and the post has actually snapped where it attaches to the seat which now is only being held on by my little tool bag.



I decide that evans should still be open so I cycle to Canary Wharf standing up as the pole doesn’t look that inviting and luckily they have one seat post that matches in the store… phew…they were all crowded round my bike cooing over it and laughing about what condor would say if they new guys from evans were fixing it.
