Check your manual or online if you don't have a manual for your rear shock.
Similar to front forks, the basic rear shock setup is to make sure you have preload set on your rear shock for the correct amount of sag.
Which means sitting on the bike and measuring the sag and adjusting preload accordingly (depends on shock).
The other main setting is rebound if your shock has an adjuster for that, and most do.
It really depends on your shock but I'd say on my bikes those are really the only things I ever touch on my rear shock and I need to check the PSI once in a while too. Again, you need to have the manual for the shock to know what PSI to go for based on your weight and the type or riding/terrain you doDave S0 -
make sure all the seals are ok - the sand at woburn and chicksands can ruin stuff very quickly. My Website - Trail Centre info for the UK: MTB Trail Time0
