The internals are that basic I can pick them up from my local car shop. Like I did today when I changed my fork over and all the bits of broken bearing fell out. If necessary i can buy the whole thing in bulk from chain reaction @ 20 squid.0

I've changed my mind. A man from Crank Brothers says that the reason they're so light is because they're basically a bearing with a bit machined on to make the flange. So they're essentially press in bearings.
