Reynolds Alta Race Freehub problems

Just cycling back from the gym and had my bike turned into an impromptu fixie.
I suspect the freehubs gone. I know the metal casing was quite soft. So much so the cassette splines dug quite deeply in last time I'd checked, but I don't know if thats the issue.
Anyone had something similar happen?

Happened to me too which isn't fun when you are not used to it. The first time I was going up hill and got to the top and then tried to free wheel but just skidded to a halt, luckily travelling very slow at this point.
It has been cleaned twice and seemed to cure it for a bit. However, it has now turned into a free-free wheel i.e. it spins both ways. It is currently in for repair and they are looking to replace the freewheel body this time.0
