Decent bike shops near portsmouth hampshire

I'm looking for a decent shop for and entry level hardtail.

I just want peoples thoughts on the better shops around portsmouth and the surrounding area. Any advice much appreciated!

pourtsmouth just a bit to far for me. try looking for ones in the yellow pages. all the local ones are normally pretty good. just don't go to halfords.

cycleworld in hilsea, or cycle paths fareham, hargorves fareham are all good shops. just have a look around and you may find more.
