I'm planning on replacing the Magura Julies on my commuter with Shimano LX brakes. I can get these cheaply but without rotors or adaptors (got old adaptors already).
Rotor-wise I have the following options - one Hayes 160mm rotor, 1 Hope Mini 160mm rotor or the existing, well used Magura Julie rotors. Will any of these work?

i think wiggle were doing an OEM set for around £80 with no adapters or rotors.

Not sure about the rotor combos, I have read about people using XT and formula oro rotors before but im not sure if you are supposed to use these combos.
    Giant TCR advanced 2 (Summer/race)
    Merlin single malt fixie (Commuter/winter/training)
    Trek superfly 7 (Summer XC)
Giant Yukon singlespeed conversion (winter MTB/Ice/snow)

  • No pronlem, tou can use this combo aslong as there the correct rotor size are the lx disk brakes 160mm rotor size? if so u will be fine :)
