Sadly , I couldn't contain my rage to write sensibly to the editor, but with any luck there are folk out there with more emotional intelligence than I who can make a point that will strike home.

I suggest that we contain our anger and write to the editor sensibly and rationally. I've written to the editor pointing out that The Times has previously opposed incitement to violenc.
