Hi,
I am just about to buy a bike for possibly cycling to work but also cycling round the local park with my kids. I was looking at the Kona Smoke which seems to not too pricy if it is an older model:

Is this a decent enough bike for general use.
Also I was looking at getting a trail-gator for towing my 4 year old to the park and then letting her cycle on her own there - does anyone have any experience of these?

Cheers

Got a trailgator. No problems with it. Nice that you can get to 'B' and let them have a ride on their own.
I fitted the kids bikes stabilisers with wing nuts. just rotated the stabilisers through 180 when I wanted to hitch them up.
When you fit the trailgator initially, don't be afraid of applying some torque through the spanner and take it out for a short slow spin with your tools.0 -
Smoke looks like a decent enough bike, if you are doing big distances you might look to something lighter & quicker buit for parks & shops and towing a trailer I would have thought it would be perfectly adequate
EDIT I have just seen the price reduction on that link, a decent bargain I reckonroad0 -
Thanks for the replies guys on both the trailgator and the Kona Smoke.
