Hey folks, merry Xmas!!

I'm thinking of taking a Trancend trail academy / Cycle Active MTB skills course at Glentress.

Has anyone been on one of these courses? Would you recommend them.

Cheers

Rich

Yes I've done a cycleactive skills weekend in the lakes and the Transcend course in Glentress. I got a lot out of both courses and would happily recommend either. Since then mates of mine have done the Transcend one and also raved about it.

They were both equally good though different in setup. They cover very similar skills but I woud say the Cycleactive setup is more of a set day whereas the Transcend one we found a bit more individualised.
We did it at differnt times in our skills development which would have affected things. We learnt a LOT from cycleactive cause we were real newbies. By the time we did the Trancend one we had basic kills nailed and used it to polish them and work on weak points.
Both very good! You wouldn't regret doing either course.
