Hi every body,
I am new here (hope you can help me), I have been biking for about 2 years and my trusty old trek 4300 is coming to the end of its life, so I have decided to replace it, I have about £300 maybe a bit more if it is worth it.

I am looking for a bike that will do every thing, from road to DH and every thing in between. I ride a lot in coed y brenin north Wales.

I need a bike that is disk compatible as I have a set of hope hydraulic brakes I wane put on, apart from that I don’t knower any thing

i have had a little look at the riewiws sections here and the rockhopper looks good,

Hope you can help cheers

Mongoose Tyax Super, or Elite (well worth checking out, not many ~£300 bikes have damped forks, the Tyax does)

could go for a giant terrago v-brake version and put your brakes straight on it. I think with online discounts you could pick one up for about £300
    Giant TCR advanced 2 (Summer/race)
    Merlin single malt fixie (Commuter/winter/training)
    Trek superfly 7 (Summer XC)
Giant Yukon singlespeed conversion (winter MTB/Ice/snow)
