Me too - can't wait to get out and put the new bike through its paces. Was hoping to get out for a blast today but wasn't feeling great and it was miserable during the window of opportunity (morning).
Weather forecast looking good which is meaningful...0 -
I want to put my helmet cam through its paces. Tested it today.0

I fitted my Cateye Micro computer yesterday. Was a bit drunk, and fitted the handlebar mount the wong way round! After sorting that out (in the end I had to resort to taking everything off the bar and sliding it off) I didn't fit a part on the sensor. Seems to be working OK so far though."Melancholy is incompatible with bicycling." ~James E. Starrs0 -

What time you getting there as i've never been and mght try to get out.0 -
I've no idea what time we're getting there, don't even know when we're leaving home yet! ha ha. probably arrive about 10. they've got some new sections apparently so can't wait.
black cannondale with a lefty, red on-one inbred, and 2 marins most likely full sus and we'll probably be with a VW transporter van. I think.0 -
what sort of terain you going on as I can go for the 223 (slow on the up, yet awsome coming down) or the hitman (alround great with short travel)0
-
I just looked up how much it will cost me to get there and back. It's cheaper to go shopping with females.
I hate to say it but shopping a blast round delamere wins.0 -
ha ha fair enough. you gotta get there some time though it a great place.
eek there was four going but in the last 10 mins thats risen to 10?!?
best thing to do when deciding on what a trail is like is to pop on youtube. http://www.youtube.com/results?search_q ... rch=Search
theres so many vids of helmet cameras on there.
although, i don't remember any of this stuff - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ltNwyEtMJZM
is it all new?!?
the boardwalk is good fun - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=31qmjEpLNrM
maybe the 223 might be best.
the short snippet from one website says - The White’s Level Trail is a challenging 6km sheep singletrack climb, followed by an adrenalin pumping mix of rock drops, step sections, berms and cliff traverses.
the climb does feel fair involving you don't have time to think man this is hard work.
is the hitman more of a jump bike?0 -
Pretty much but it's got a steel frame. I can drop 3ft with no problem 8) Would love to go but it's like 4 hours there and 4 back and is going to cost me almost £50in diesel. I'm going to check it on tomtom to see if i can get it 3 hrs but not looking good.0

My wife bought me a set of 2.1" Panaracer Fire XC Pros. How cool is that? Can't wait to stick them on the Inbred and cane it round y favourite circuit.I'm only concerned with looking concerned0

tomtom says 3 hrs 15mins I want to go but I don't want to end up o my bill. No fun when you got to do a big ride alone. Also I'm doing a big tour that way in march for my birthday.0
