More than likely they are fine wheels "IF" and I say again "IF" you use them for their intended use. Racing, training, jumping, or whatever. You CAN use your lightweight racing wheels to get "big air" but don't expect them to survive the "big hit" landings
for too long. Dispite all the hype there is no "perfect wheel for everything" out there
    or even in the works.

From what I've seen they all seem to have a bizarre spoking pattern on them. It looks pretty, but imagine getting a buckle in the massive gap between the spokes. Hmm.
    Rule 64:

Cornering confidence generally increases with time and experience. This pattern continues until it falls sharply and suddenly.

They were specced on some Giants of previous years. They are also rebadged and sold by Halfords as bikehut wheels

I would not recommend them. They were recommended in C+ a couple of yrs ago. 3 of us from the same club bought the XCR - cheap and light and seemed the ideal training wheel. However, after about 10-15 months, all the back wheels split on the rim. On one of them, it split on the rider when he was descending Ventoux. 2 of us are 12 st and and the third was 10st - not heavy riders and our use was just general training - no racing. I have replaced mine with Shimano 550 - much better.
