Just been on MSN to a friend in Preston and it was still xmas eve there. Its Xmas morning here in Tasmania.
The 11 hours time difference makes chatting to people awkward to say the least.

31 december was the hottest day in the hottest ever year in Melbourne - including 30 deg C at midnight - awful sleeping conditions.
