awesome lookign track frame.
what a lovely couple of frames.
do you have one?!0 -
Not a track frame but I will be getting a road frame. I like the fixed frame but I fear these are rare beasts and you can't be too fussy when they come up. I just bought a really nice Flying Scot 19" track 50's frame.0

Well I can't ride it as I am 6ft nothing but it is nice and one of the girls in the family might want it but it is a really nice frame may come in handy for a future trade or swap.0

Also I have decided what I need to complete my Bob Jackson, a 90mm Nitto Pearl, a pair of Nitto randonneur bars and a pair of non aero levers. I already have a choice of two pairs of levers Dia Compe and Shimano 600 both have the gum grips. I will then havethe bars tapped in white cloth which i will orange shellac. That way it will be easy to change tha cable and housing without undoing and replacing the bar tape.0 -

Go for it Peejay. Youdon't even need to put track ends on it to use it as a fix. You could possibly get Mercian to remove all the braze ons and put track ends on. Get it sprayed copper and have the forkends chromed. Major Nichols decals and rare headbadge fitted and you could have bagged yourself a lovely road fixed machine. I estimate that the frame will go for around £130 - 150 on the bay but I could be wrong you may get it for £20.0
