Need to book a few days cycling up and around the Alpe d'Huez and would like some ideas for accommodation at the end of June. Thanks for any replies

You didn't specify whether you want a gite or a four-star hotel, but here's a nice gite just down the hill in Huez Village where I've stayed and recommend:

Great cycling specific accomodation near Bourg d'Oisans.

We stayed at www.oisans38.com courtesy of a recommend from this site. Madame Konicki has 3 apartments just 5 minutes walk from the centre of Bourg D' on the road towards Alpe D'huez. Accommodation included a lockable closet for the bikes and during a tour of lamentable hotels it was a haven of relaxation for a couple of days.
