Advice needed

Hi, i've got a carrera valour at the mo (go on laugh). Theres a guy on ebay selling a Trek 5200 and it's about 6 years old. Do you recon if it's worth getting? It's in good condition. Do u recon i would gain alot better performance and ride considering it's carbon and comes with ultegra+durace components? How much do you think i should pay? thanks in advance for your help
