I am considering upgrading my HRM to one that download to a computer for subsequent analysis and to maintain a ride liog. I have been looking at the Polar CS200 CAD, there are some good deals out there on this model. I have noted some negative comment on a review web site about the difficulty in downloading to a computer and wondered whether anyone had any experience with this model. Is it worth it, or should I save my pennies and get a more expensive model that downloads using IR or USB.

I am looking for a model that will download HR, Speed ,Cadence and probably distance and provide graphs.

Any thoughts?

    Gavin,
Polar CS200Cad doesn't do this. I have one and like it. However, HR, Speed ,Cadence are only recorded for Total , Laps, Max & Average. So it is not possible to graph your HR, Speed & Cadence and review throughout your ride.

I think you will need to go higher up the model chain to get this. And that means more $$$$$

Thanks I thought as much. It seems quite a jump from the CS200 costing around £90 to the CS400 coming in at around £200. Oh well, looks like I will need to save up a little more.
