£149 for wheels and brakes at Merlin at the mo. Tempted as I'll shove them straight on my winter crud monster enabling me to go through 12 inch deep mud without hearing the grinding of brake blocks against rim and the resulting 2 mile stuggle to clear clag.

has anybody out there used them? no real reviews on the forums

and anybody know if you can get silver oury grips?
Visit Clacton during the School holidays - it's like a never ending freak show.

Who are you calling inbred?

  • they are fairly new, so I don't know anyone who is running them, however the magazine reviews for these seem to state they are a good brake. Hayes have been a little behind the times of late but these seem to be bringing them back up the pecking order a little, they have been specked as OE on quite a number of new bikes this year (2008) so should find out a little more as the year progresses, the price seems a bargain though. Typical Merlin good value.
