Fox DHX 4.0 bottoming easily

Hi,
I am just under 10 stone on a kona stinky 06 with a fox DHX 4.0. I replaced the 500 lb spring it came with, with a 350 lb spring to achieve around 25% sag.
At first this was fine, with about 120 psi in the shock it would be supple on the low end compression and ramp up on the high end compression.
However at the moment, no matter how much air I put in the shock (max 200psi), or even if I preload the spring fully, it seems to dive through the travel and hit the foam bumper, even after a medim sized bunny hop! There is no progressive feeling at all.
And no I haven't eaten too many mince pies!
Is there something wrong with the shock? it is about a year old.
Cheers,
Tom

sounds like service time."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

That surprises me seeing as it has only been properly ridden for the past 5 months, it has had a very small amount of riding hours. I have recently ridden in very wet muddy conditions, could this be the cause?
Do they often need servicing this quickly, what is actually wrong with the shock (seals gone, fluid leak)?0 -
It could be that one of the compression valves has gone...
You should get it checked out0
