Accident Last Night Embankment W/bound Near Portcullis House

About 6pm last night as I headed East on the Embankment, I saw a police van with lights flashing blocking one lane of westbound Embankment. In front of it was a motor car that had its front end partially wedged between wheel and rear pannier box of motorcycle. Bike was wedged upright by the car. I saw no ambulance there and indeed never saw car driver or motor cyclist.

anyone see what had happened and know if everyone was ok?

I'm presuming car failed to stop and ran into rear of motorbike, but it is unusual not to knock bike over in those circumstances I would have thought

Not connected in anyway, but hopefully the above victims are injury free, or at least have minimal injuries.

About 2 years ago when I walked up the embankment, ie heading East, I saw a motorbike go past with a pillion passenger on, pillion passenger was brandishing a firearm, and being chased by 2 BMW police bikes, said bike then crossed the central reservation, nearly fell off, and went up the embankment on the wrong side of the road......
