Campag Compact Drive
Hi forum people...
I have a Campag Mirage CT c/set on my fixie, I plan to get the bike 'geared up' in January to compete in some early season events, as I wish to do this for as little cost as poss I will use the c/set I have already...
question is this - do I have to use a dedicated compact drive f/mech with this c/set or can I get away something else? The rings are 48/36
Many TIA

what he said ^^
but the CT mech does shift a bit betterFacts are meaningless, you can use facts to prove anything that's remotely true! - Homer0 -
The 2008 front mechs are designed to work with both standard and compact cranks.I'd rather walk than use Shimano0

I've got a 2008 combined mech on a centaur compact, I can't find any difference between that and the ancient 105 mech I was running previously. The Quick Shift ain't any quicker either.0
