Seatpost Pinarello 4:13

Phoned a bike shop today, apparently it is a 31.0 mm - bummer as it reduces the options considerably. Indeed, following a scan around the usual online bike shops, I have not found a single 31.0mm seatpost. Looks like Pinarello want you to buy their own brand "Most" seatposts.0

Get a 27.2mm post and a shim - means have the widest choice of posts possible - if you ever upgrade/change then chances are it will fit another bike.Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0

Had a quick scan through Wiggle and there appear to be quite a few 30.9 posts of various prices:- Ritchey, Easton, Race Face, USE....0

Do you think a 30.9 would work OK. I know it is only a tiny amount, just slightly nervous of messing up an excellent (and expensive) frame.0 -
Well FYI (and out of curiosity) I measured mine as being 30.89mm last night. Perhaps your LBS approximated?0

Thank you - grateful for your comment and measurement. I am always slightly nervous at what things can be approximated and those those must be taken as exact with regard to the bike.0
