Does anyone here own a set of Mavic Cosmic Carbone or Carbone SL Premiums and are you able to offer some feedback on their performance?
I am intending on replacing a set of Real Design Supersonic wheels that came with a Litespeed Tuscany. Those wheels are absolutely shyte, mainly due to their fragility. The rear has been rebuilt twice in the space of 1100 miles, and it's out of true again after less than 100 miles since its latest rebuilt. It's out of warranty (I have five other bikes that I ride, thus the low mileage), so Litespeed aren't interested in helping me.
Anyway, I'm thinking of a set of Cosmic Carbone SL Premiums to satisfy my irrational hankering after a set of deep section wheels. I am aware that they are quite heavy, but think I can live with that.
Any comments or advice gratefully appreciated.
