Bianchi Compact ??

Hi .. Thinking of buying my first road bike and like the look of a 2007 bianchi via nirone 7 alu compact .. Does this mean that the frame is compact geometry ?? ... as i`ve being looking at a 46 cm which is small , but i normally ride a 16" mtb as i`m only 5 foot 6 with a 29 inside leg .... question is will it fit ??? or is this too small for my short arse !

    No compact in this case means a compact chainset rather than a standard double.

    Stump,

    you are same size as me, I ride a 15" Spesh mtb and have just ordered a Bianchi C2C compact Xenon, frame size 53cm. 46cm would be far too small for you.
