What with Multimap being sold to M$ it was about time that proper British mapping was available in a similar way to the googly maps API.

eh? Layman's terms please. :oops:
I do use the get a map function on OS site and find it quite good for checking areas or looking for routes off the edge of paper maps which I own.I have pain!0 -

Laymans terms er... not very good at that:
API = interface that lets other people incorporate your system into theirs, thus If i was part of the Alpha group I would be able to create a web page a bit like Bikely with the OS mapping.Do Nellyphants count?
