right...
could i build a rig consisting of a long travel fork, giant stp se jump frame, nine gears and 26" wheels?
built to be a kind of freeride/jump bike.

    NO. chose a short travel fork.

    ok, like a dj3?
    from your experience would you say this sort of set up would work as a freeride-ish sort of bike? because nearly everyone i know with a jump/street frame has single speed, but i want a geared bike so i can take it on trails etc. ?

    would choose RS pikes for forks, SRAM gears and im not sure for wheels, theres loads of choice, depends on what your budget is

    I've been using DJ3's for freeride and general hucking about on, they've served me well. I'm going to miss using them now I have the Stinky.
