Hi,
I'm looking to put together a super cheap hardtail freeride rig!
Can anyone help me with the forks and frame?
i was thinking that i could use a "on one inbred 456" frame and "marzocchi dirt jumper 3" forks or maybe the all mountain 3's?
can anyone give me any advice on such a build.
thank you
albo

    The Inbred isn't really a Freeride frame, it's a 4",5" or 6" XC/AM rig.

    oh! ok . . . :(
do you know of any cheapish hardtails that could be used as freeriders?
  • the question is, without wishing to be rude, is do you really need a freeride ht. what will you be riding.
If you are regularly doing 5ft plus drops then yes you want to try and find a well looked after chameleon or stiffee on ebay or similar,
Failing that look at something like kona clump tubing ht as they use this tubing on their coiler etc.
    hope that helps a little
  • sorry just thought have a look at Norco frames as well

Depends what size you're after but this http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... elID=15596 could be good.
