    I wonder if the seller had any idea that it would go for that much? The original listing price (£3) would seem to suggest not.

    Is it worth buying a load of current components and storing them in the original packaging to then make a fortune selling them to Japanese collectors in 30 years time?

    I have one of those in very good condition I wish I had stuck it on last week. Do you think the high bids were to secure the outcome of the auction I am guessing at around about £30 - £50?
