It's not easy to figure out first time round, but GPSBabel will do the job.

I tried a few different applications. Maybe I'm a f*ckwit but I couldn't get many of them to work until I stumbled on mapmyride.com which was the definition of simplicity

I could never get the hang of mapmyride. Bikeroutetoaster is good.
  • I've also used bikeroutetoaster and find the routes easy to download to my Garmin Edge 305.

I find www.mapmyride.com the easiest. set up a free account, save the route you've made, and then save it from a drop down menu as a garmin crs.save this in oyur docs, then its easy to import it to training centre, where you can add warnings for junctions etc if u want to, then just send it to the edge
