Smart lamp bracket

I was given a Smart 10w/2.5w light as a present couple of months ago. I have since changed the bars and stem on my bike to an oversize set and now the bracket won’t fit. I’ve been in touch with the distributor and they tell me Smart don’t do a bracket for oversized bars. Has anyone else had this problem and managed to come up with a solution.

    I've not had this exact problem but I've had similar... I'm not familiar with the Smart mounting system but I got round my problem with a couple of large zip ties!
    Even if the voices aren't real, they have some very good ideas.

    Hi, I had a similar problem & attached the bracket to the drops as I rarely use them. When I do, I make sure the bracket is not where I want to put my hands. A bit of trial & error will solve the problem......
