Steaming up

Is there a product out there that will effectively stop glasses steaming up.

I use the normal plastic glasses with interchangable lenses. Don't wear my normal specs when riding. It takes about 2 seconds for them to steam up after I put them on, tend not to wear them on the ups and put them on just before starting to head down.

I tried vinegar on Sunday and it was a bit better but still took about 10 to 20 seconds of moving quickly to clear which is a bit dangerous - and they stunk!!

Thanks for any help.
Current steed is a '07 Carrera Banshee X

Try putting a drop of fairy liquid on each lens (each side as well) and polish until clear. Seems to work for me.

You can buy antifog chemicals (proably work the same way as fairy liquid), diving shops are a good place to look as your mask often fogs underwater which can completely ruin your dive. I bought a little bottle of stuff before my last holiday and it worked a treat on my diving mask. I'll try and find out what it's called when I get home. Only downside is you need to reaplly regularly. :(

Got my new Specialised Chicane glasses from Wiggle (no sweeties) today so I'll have to see how they perform in the fog test vs my £10 glasses from Decathalon :D
It's easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission.

    I've bought a new bike....ouch - result
    Can I buy a new bike?...No - no result

I do what i used to do for my swimming goggles back in the days when I was a human fish. washing up liquid on the lenses then spit on them and wipe until polished. Works a treat if not slightly revolting sounding.
