I have just bought some fox float 32 R 120mm 2007 they had already been reduced from 140mm to 120mm by tim flooks when i bought them. I was wondering would it do them any harm if I did a bit of jumping on them, not much though. I do mainly trails like Llandegla, coed y brenin, marin trail, FTD, macynleth, etc was it a good purchase or not? got them for £190. cheers andy :? should have asked first really, to late now...

Assuming they suit the geometry of the bike and you're not 20 stone, then they were a great purchase.

I have 130mm Float R's on my Orange 5, I ride red & black trails all over the country, great fork, but a little prone to brake dive, but if yours have been fettled by TFT they may have also done some work on the rebound to help with the brake dive issue.

As for 'jumping' they will take small drop off's (1-2ft is what I have done on them) & small jumps, but not proper dirt jumping.

    Hope that helps.

Rebound won't help with brake dive, Compression damping is what's required
