Right,on another thread on here im building a 5-6 inch travel freeride bike, need some forks and have been trying to find a decent performing set.... do not need the latest all singing and dancing items,as at my age, heroics are very much a thing of the past, just need some reliable, decent performing units that work as they should do..... discounted my earlier choice of manitou as from posts ive read, and emails ive recieved, they are not suitable.... almost deff decided to go with either of these two marzocchi forks, just would like to se if anyone has any experience with them and can vouch for their effectivness..

first one is a 07 Z1 sport with 150mm travel

second is the previous years model with slightly less travel at 130mm

I have 20mm bolt through hubs so would like to get some forks with that feature,or can anyone reccomend another fork for around the same price thats a better option?

If you can afford them http://www.rutlandcycling.com/ProductDe ... 1c980809e8 I doubt you would regret it.

Ive got the 06 model, the second one you linked to on my bike, theyve always done me alright. I would prefer something with a bit more travel though to be honest.
