Hi guys, My 66's im running with stock springs are just slightly oversprung for my weight. If I use a pair of soft springs it will be to soft for what I mainly ride. (normaly Freeride, downhill and a bit of dirtjumping..)

So, would it be possible to run one stock spring in one leg and a soft spring in the other?

Thanks

Sorry to ask, but doesn't the 2005 66 RC have air adjustable pre-load to fine tune your spring rate rather than interchageable springs?

Yes it does have adjustable air preload.

However, the coil spring weight is to firm with out any air preload atall, so a softer spring will be needed.

    Thank you for your intrest

I may be wrong but I think it only has a coil spring in one leg, so you would change that for a softer spring and then use the air to bolster the coil to the exact spring-rate for your weight and riding style.
