Hi all!
Myself and a friend are entering the wildboar 24hour race in Grizedale next May!
I thought about doing it in a team of 4 but i'm feeling fitter after the last three months of riding so i had the offer doing it as a pair.
What sort of training should i be doing?
I do like to try and get out as much as i can, and riding in the lakes is always good exercise!
I do weights for the upper body, squats to help the legs and i have a great hill near just over a mile long that i basically time myself up and ride back down and do the same again trying to keep times consistent.
I tend to do the road hill climbing when i don't have time to get into the lakes and ride.
So i pressume we will alternate laps so i will some time to recover between my sessions.
Any tips, advice or tales from doing a 24 would be helpful.
Thanks
