Anybody else up for this ride?
Me and a mate have just signed up so the serious hill practice starts now I guess!!!

    I was wondering whether to have a crack at this. Might clash with our FWC reccy ride we do in April though (I remember we did it on the day of the Lakeland Loop last year - we only found out when there were no bananas left in the shop at Gosforth) :-)

    Whats the route from Grasmere to Keswick? Over Dunmail Raise and then through St Johns in the Vale, or does it just carry on on the the main road over to Keswick?

    Im not too sure of the route yet. The route link on the website is on the blink.

    Ive just read this(oh sh it) and it looks horrid!!

    Fair play to them - doing that route back to back like that would be tough.
    I remember that day well it was absolutely glorious. We rode the Fred Whitton route and it was a tad warm in places!

    Why not have a pop at the Fred Whitton too? You'll have a month to recover ;-)
