I bought this and I'm very happy with it. Comes with a dishing stick and spoke key. £68

I use the basic park tools one: http://www.wiggle.co.uk/ProductDetail.a ... ng%20Stand
Does the job.
If you're building lots of wheels there's the very expensive park tools one: http://www.wiggle.co.uk/ProductDetail.a ... ng%20Stand
Which I guess would make dishing easier.0 -

Pedro's tools makes a nice one. Similar to the Park tool but a bit cheaper.

I brought one of these 6 months ago from Merlin Cycles for £45:

Same as the Edinburgh Cycles one I think0 -
I've used park tools stand in a lbs and they don't last very long.
What I've found is that park tools generally are just for occasional use only.0 -

Depends what you want to do. I too went for the stand from Merlin which is ok for the occasion wheel build and truing. The Minouri is the best of the cheap stands in my opinion but it is flimsy.
If you really want a solid stand, get Roger Musson's book and build the one in his book.
I am no handyman. but it only took me an afternoon to build. Solid as a rock.
His wheelbuilding book is an absolute bible - I learned a great deal from it.
