Can anyone of our regulars provide me with the company name of the owner of this unmarked white van ?

(Driving northbound over London Bridge at 09.00 5th December 2007)

I would like to have a quiet word with the transport manager and suggest he rather urgently deals of one of his drivers before his insurance premiums go through the roof (and one of our brethrin ends up in hospital)

    I've taken a look at some Beta Data, and as about 6 weeks ago I suspect it was uninsured. No Name and Address info sadly

    Why am I not suprised, so not only driving uninsured, unregistered, and untaxed I also guess no driving licence and won't have paid his congestion charge.

    The problem is, he is liable to damage or kill someone before very long, and he will simply drive off, leaving a disaster behind him

    Can anything be done to remove people like this from the roads ?

    Does anyone work for TFL or Consignia ? As a quick check on the camera database would show if this a regular run across London Bridge, in which case he becomes easier to follow or catch

    Yes, something can and is being done. No doubt a few petrol head will cry Big Brother but time is fast running out for untaxed and uninsured motorists.

    Yeah - a quick check online at http://www.vehiclelicence.gov.uk shows that the tax ran out in August this year.

    Obviously theres been some kind of 'incident', report it to plod and tell them you have reason to believe its untaxed etc
